Hello, we are an animal welfare organisation supporting cats and their rescuers in Cyprus. Project Paw Cyprus was created after a holiday to Cyprus in 2022, where we saw for ourselves that many cats are in need of help. A fully funded, year round neutering programme is required to control numbers. Many cats require healthcare and there is a clear need for the improvement of animal welfare in generic terms.
Many tourists have rescued and rehomed cats from Ayia Napa with our support. People living in Ayia Napa who help animals year round need more support from the municipality.
