I am writing in relation to the parking fine issued to my vehicle REG: NAX309 on 06/09/2025 at 20:35. Location: Archiepieskopou Makariou III
I fully respect the importance of keeping disabled bays available and clearly marked. However, in this case, the bay markings at the location are very faded and not visible at night as well as during the day, making it extremely difficult to recognise that it was a designated disabled parking space.
We also hold a valid disabled badge, which we normally display. On this occasion, as we did not realise it was a disabled bay, we did not place it on the dashboard. Had the markings been clear, we would of course have displayed our badge as required.
The following evening, I returned to the location to take a photo and noticed another rental car parked in the same bay without displaying a badge. This indicates that other drivers also do not recognise it as a disabled bay, which highlights the lack of visibility of the...
